Animal Welfare and Rescue Effort

First Donation Box Installation!

TCI A.W.A.R.E.’S First Donation Box Installation!

As part of our continued efforts to bring relief to our equine population on Grand Turk, TCI A.W.A.R.E. has partnered with Provo Ponies to bring us closer to our goal of establishing an unpenned animal sanctuary for the free roaming horses, donkeys and mules.

Provo Ponies, located in Long Bay, Providenciales, has graciously provided our organization with a small space at their stables to help boost our efforts.

This generous gesture saw us setting up our very first donation box on November 16, 2016. This now allows patrons and customers of Provo Ponies to donate whatever they can afford to a very worthy cause.

“A huge thank you to Provo Ponies for believing in us and helping in their own special way,” says TCI A.W.A.R.E. founder, Michael Fenimore.

A very special thanks to Camille Slattery, Owner of Provo Ponies since 2010, whose tireless work over the years has made her a friend to all, especially our four legged friends.

In addition to our donation box, we will continue to look for innovative ways to boost support and participation.
